I assume the calling cards are the other guys, but if she is stealing a human "treasure" it is probably Cross. He lives in a fortified estate, is under constant watch by three unnatural disasters, is grabbing up followers, and has a bunch of weird stuff about him that makes him unique.

you know what, besides the art, which I found super good.
the series from time to time, really knows how to show Cross growth with fights and not just "ohh look he learned a new technique", he pretty much detected the attackers, then reacted accordingly and even used all the masters teaching, best position, curse and a magic attack to win.

Nina the ranger is totally the thief right??? also the cat that was listening to the "bandits" (demon lord worshippers??)

I like this manga, but it is kind of weirding me out that every villain gets reformed and joins Cross' circle. I bet even the bandit leader/kidnapper of Sylphy from the last arc will help from the shadows eventually.

Nah, they made him too unrepentantly evil. Plus, he lost so much limb that even the healer (forgot her name) couldn't restore them; unless the story pulls out some bullshit-grade magical prosthetics, his career is over.
