Dang, this artist just can't catch a break. First series got the axe (for good reason, it seems) and this one's on hiatus. I hope it comes back, I was really enjoying it. Especially the fact the main character wasn't being pined on by his entire party. It was nice to see each character have their own reasons to be where they were.

I just hope that, if it returns, it stops trying to justify evil people and actions the way that it's tried. It's one thing if the bad character's really did have a tragic backstory and their evil behavior was an extension of what happened to them. But that just hasn't been the case for too many of them.

the perfect 7.5/10. it has an okay (mostly unoriginal) base concept, okay subplots, okay gags, but above average romance for a non-slice of life (not a harem is apparently a high bar), and at least strives for some originality within the story with its "justice is subjective" motif. despite coming to banal, surface level conclusions, it's SOMETHING to shake up the story, which is nice

"I understand you had a bad life, but I am going to kill you because you are a problem" is a the best combination of modern humanism and traditional effective pro-social decision making.
