The pseudo-osananajimi isn't a real CF, but she's been working her way into the family's good gracesfor years, befriending his older sister and learning all of his favorite dishes from his mother. The only part she's been slow on is active pursuit, and Rui has played some part in why she waited.

Also, when it comes to the ending, I'm not sure even the author knows. The LN is only two volumes in, after all.
