So lovely! Manga like to have non-human species looking young but actually old, so I'm happy that Ukano's age matches her appearance! We need more manga with actual young characters from non-human species.

For anyone who doesn't know, (and contrary to what shounen manga would have you believe) Japan is still relatively safer than most countries, so at some point you send your kid out on My First Errand, usually to the store to buy something. And at least in media it's common for family to stealthily tag along. There was even a pretty popular TV show segment about it where they'd follow the kid with a hidden camera and see what they got distracted by. So that's why he's stalking her.

Thanks for this cuteness!

Actually the merchants who sold milk probably won't care, it's expensive and heavy to transport, the sellers also probably don't care since the volume was low to begin with. Being able to sell powdered seaweed instead is actually a major boon since you can sell it in greater volume and it's a non-perishable so it's also much cheaper to transport. The merchants who sell fresh produce will still continue to sell the things that can't be grafted at a premium while also including seeds for the things that can be grafted (which can be transported for cheaper)

But the person who sell cheese probably would care since cheese is self stable it can be available everywhere, but after mock milk discovered the flow of cheese would disturbed right?
That's the neat thing about cheese, shelf stable cheese needs to be aged for months and requires very specific storage conditions while it's ageing. They are able to make wet cheese that doesn't require much ageing but it also can't be transported. It will take many years for cheese makers to figure out how to make a shelf stable hard cheese and decades before the cheese can even become an export!
