Yeah man, I just can’t with this “hunter” and all that hunter lore. It just doesn’t work. And the bits of comedy the author threw into this chapter just feel off with what this “hunter” is doing.

Hell nah! I get that the ML isn't romantically interested in our vampire MC due to him holding on to a past "friendship" with his bandmate. But this vampire hunter shit ain't it.

More like drop, this is so bad, it’s criminal. The author has taken literally every bad trope in “romcoms” and fit them into 23 chapters.

This chapter just pushed it over the edge from mediocre to awful.

i.e. Let's go the 'peaceful' way for wiping out the vampires; mind control/drug them into marriage and then ensure that their race doesn't propagate due to their 'inferior' genetics through totally consensual sex. bruh

What the actual fuck was the author smoking to think that this would be a good idea to add to this story?
