Everyone but Max who’s treated as the office doormat who’s overlooked and over worked also it was slightly hinted shit might get rough for our boy because he defended Esther to her ex who was talking all that shitThat never really works out, leaving to 1 company together(unless you are desperate like during covid), from this chapter alone we can see that they get decent conditions where they are at.
Isn't max leaving better for her if she intended to pursue him romantically? I doubt she'd want to date another coworker after the last disaster. The problem is that she'd need to become more than a coworker to Max before he leaves. This poaching attempt feels a bit early. It makes me wonder if Esther will seriously enter the equation given her current mindset and Max's sole interest in Joy. Maybe she'll get left behind at this company?
I really thought she'd join their side project job hunting hustle because they mentioned looking for a UI/graphics person and haven't shown us if Joy's old uni classmate would commit. All it'll take is some more workplace power harassment I suppose...
Edit: Was the implication that Joy wanted to invite Max over to her home on a Saturday night really enough to equalize the polls?
Same, seeing her flinch in the elevator hurt.I'm ngl I take a hit to my mental every time I see Esther get a bit sad. It's so over for me
Poll got botted and nobody will convince me otherwiseEdit: Was the implication that Joy wanted to invite Max over to her home on a Saturday night really enough to equalize the polls?
