The most forced nothing burger drama ever, perhaps? Although I suppose it's not entirely inaccurate considering they're middle schoolers.
Not nothing burger, in fact I would argue this is the catalyst of how their relationship will be in the future. Because hate it or not, Yamada is 100% lock-in on her career, which is a good thing, but there will be sacrifices to be made in term of their relationship because the idol industry is cancerous for romantic relationship, especially for someone to date others that aren't belong in that industry. There is a reason why relationship in idol and movies industry often come and go so much, most of them are fiction and only served to be beneficial for their career.
If this drama doesn't get solved, and by solved I mean thoroughly solved, not just merely brushed aside or treated as goofy moments, I sincerely hope they will ended up parting away. Because without a good balance and compromise, their relationship would eventually boiled down to one person sacrificing everything to help served the other's interests and careers. It will be either Yamada having to leave the idol behind or Ichi always in constant paranoid about being find out and being judged as her partner, especially if she make it big and become a big name, not to mention the tabloid and all the stupid dramas about her love life with other actors too, the media loves and WILL stir shit up, it will be mentally nightmare. And I don't want this relationship to turned toxic like that
