I saw this and give a try without expecting much. This is considerably better than average for me. The MC is more capable, at least mentally, than other isekai slops. I also really like Gale.

The village leaders have their sycophants/cronies in the village and a very big Zlatan...

You'd have to do "a bit" more murder-hobo'ing than just the 2 porkypigs..
Plus the village is not isolated in a vacuum. Village leaders are generally tied into the local governance structure, and simply killing them might well attract bigger trouble.

I haven't read either the WN or the LN, I was just commenting on the fact that Solan has been mentioned multiple times so far only to have apparently been killed off without getting to make an appearance.
