I called it. They wouldn't keep showing the toe unless it was important in some way. However, the true strength of the Lazarus Pit now causes a bunch of problems.
We know the Lazarus Pit can reverse age (and even create specters from the unborn), but now it can apparently resurrect the dead...but for how long? Will a resurrected person live their natural lifespan, or will they live up to the moment they died, and re-die again? This becomes important for if the resurrected Anzu becomes a one-chapter bit character who re-dies to preserve the status quo, or a recurring character like the fearless journalist girl Kiki.
Furthermore, as it can resurrect the dead, something will need to be done about it, as if it stays around, the moment someone dies, readers will inevitably ask "why not take them to the Lazarus Pit from Chapter 14?" And something HAS to be done about it, as presumably the main characters will revert to their true age at the end. This is doubly relevant as Sakura and Kiki will revert to their normal ages since they were in the pool a while, while Anzu will revert to...a toe again? It was only dipped in for less than a second, after all.
Finally, god save those hips.
