I mean the perfect ending was there. Refuse the kings offer to lead the guild and settle down on the island fulfilling his desire to find love and lead a normal life. Last scene you get a foursome and everybody loses their vcards (I assume the receptionist and Alicia still have them not sure about the dwarf). Hell add the princess too since she already deus ex machina the conflict anyway.. and the maid too, and the bunny girl nobody is left out. It was so obvious it's clear this was the intention so what happened? It wasn't the apex of manga or storytelling in the first place but it was passable and the art was nice, I doubt this series was so popular the editor egged the author to keep it going.

It's not the NTR that bothers me (i mean, i'm not the "used goods belong in the trash" kind of a person, my peeve lies with cucks themselves being absolutely useless), but the silly way it all plays out. Also, surprised Suzu managed to not fully succumb to the Charm.
I'm also, like cactus27, expecting Girold to try Charm on Chappie, only for her to punch his lights out, dispelling his Charm in the process.

Yeah, kinda confusing. If it's "Enchanting subordinates' abilities", then it implies that Girold was capable of Charm himself. But in the context it seems like her new power allows sharing her skills with subordinates. As for working on females, Charm probably works on the opposite sex in general (unless she herself would be able to charm females).
