“I have no choice but to become a completely despicable woman”
yes you fucking do. Please, I thought you were rational. you had the wisdom to see your faults and to understand what happened, and to be able to blame yourself. You’re smarter than this mate.
On another note, Eiji’s mum is good for protecting her son, but when you try and push an apology away (ie, acknowledge it, you don’t have to accept it but at least allow her to apologise), bad shit happens cause they spiral and make increasingly irrational decisions. She’s a teenage girl, people make mistakes. I mean this was a pretty bad mistake ngl but you still use a mistake to teach people. With some people that requires heavy handling but with someone with this much will to better themselves it is better to accept now, and the harshness comes later.
What r u talking about she just didn't cheat on him, she literally ruined his life and accused of abusing her. No she doesn't deserve a chance to apologize fuck her
That makes me think of "I dont want to hate you anymore than I do"
Mum knows. She definitely knows something even worse happened and is just trying to keep herself from murdering the cheating girl.

Well the mom said it was up to eiji she just didn't want her hoe ass to ruin his new blossoming happiness. I wouldnt say thats pushing it away she just doesnt want that near her
I like that the author made a point to show that the whore didnt just betray her boyfriend. She betrayed his mom, his brother, their mutual childhood friends and even her own mother.
I look forward to seeing that shituation unfold. Its weirdly cathartic yet I feel so bad for everyone else that suffered cause of her

What Miyuki did is akin to attempted murder. Some mistakes are so severely fucked up there is no going back. The "teaching" comes from the equally severe consequences that must follow. Pray other see and learn from them.
Eiji's mom first hand saw how her own son basically died and became a hollow shell. To the point he almost literally died jumping off a roof. If anything its a parents duty to protect their child while they get back up on their feet. Mom knows his mental and emotional state is still on the precipice, just barely hanging on and being held back by the new girl that showed up.
Absolutely no way would a sane parent allow that whore to even look at him and risk more harm.

the mum told her she could talk to eiji on her own, she just never wanted to see her again. i think that's extremely valid. and what would an apology even do for him? unless it was a public apology in front of the whole school, it only serves to make her feel better about herself, it doesn’t take away the fact that she not only cheated on him but lied and ruined his school life.
Not really. They have only one conversation, he runs into her on the street, and he just puts her in her place and completely removes her from his life. That will be soon, in a few chapters.
i'm one who often accept apologies, but you will still have to pay for what you did, in this situation i will not accept them as they are not sincere at all
I like this manga because it illustrates what would/should happen when such an atrocity is commited to a single individual who doesn't deserve any evil towards it
and the consequences that comes against the perpetrator
yeah I remember from past chapters comment, people getting mad at the mom because she didn't talk to him, but what good would have been to tell him after he came back from being NTR'd on his birthday, the chapter was clear with how it went for the mom at least to not be part of the problem.
Oh, I realized I screwed up, what should I do, should I be held accountable and try to fix what I did wrong for him and try to get him back before he falls in love too... better idea, I should just slut up, friggin genius

when she actually learns that part, miyuki's mom gonna get royally f*cked, and that's another huge FAFO on miyuki
