I was almost killed my bully before and it’s kinda baffled me when I read these bullying theme stories how the MC can kinda put up with all of that, their mentality is more inhuman than me that tried to eliminate my source of problems.
The MCs of stories with plot like this are like a person who got cancer, they’re sick yet they don’t try to get medical treatment but trying to cultivate the cancer itself instead.

All their friends, family, and teachers who trusted them will turn their backs on you, and you'll obviously be the bad guy. Also, the guy who cheated on the main character with her was much more athletic, so it wouldn't have been easy to beat him up with a skinny body. From your perspective, the main character would have lost all sympathy because ALL the evidence points against him. While there was only an allegation before, now there would be proof plus the allegation

So far, the manga's story is developing at a good pace. I would really like to see the author develop the MC's character, make him more confident, brave, and stronger, so that he isn't afraid to fight for his rights and that he can show others that they shouldn't mess with him again,

This story has some good elements (Eiji and Ai's romance, Eiji's mom, Endo, Yumi, teachers actually caring about bullying to name a few).
The problem? It's revenge story, and revenge is meh at best. Author IMO tried to do 2 things:

• punish all of the bad actors,
• make the revenge and punishment grounded in reality.

The problem? He dialed everything to the max. Maximum potential sentence everywhere. Any possible mistake (in some cases spreading rumors) - life ruining. Families turning on their family members over that. People being sued left and right. Minors jailed. Police throwing their full resources to absolutely every single claim. Internet not forgetting shit in a matter of hours, media not forgetting shit in a matter of days at best, but going after it with full force all the time.
Sure, author tries again to ground it somewhat in reality involvement of rather powerful people and case gaining media attention could be somewhat a reason why the bad actors are made an example of, but everything is so blown out of proportion, that it finally loses all meaning and becomes rather sloppy revenge porn. There's clear line, on the left we have bad people, they get punished, on the right we have good people, good things happen to them. There's almost no in between.
So okayish romance. Meh detective work (even if ignoring that a lot of convenient things happen to push it forward). Very meh revenge story.

It believe gonna go one of a few ways, the ex's mom is gonna see MC woth another girl, assume hes cheating and confront him to find out its the opposite, MCs mom will have tea with ex's mom and tell her in passing about the situation, or the scum will ditch her and the ex will have nobody to fall on, accelerating her downfall into guilt and abandonment, or mix of them

After reading a bit further than my last post, story would IMO make more sense if we had resolution of bullying as the after effect of political conflict, not the other way around. main bully losing cover/money of his now arrested father, and people supporting MC being able to go after him because of that/making his case a media covered example because they want to really hit his father hard - or something like that.
