Yume Nikki & fan-games enjoyers, unite!

[TheTopAdventure]

show yourselves, you bastards

tbh I never played the original game, just the fangames, 90% of my gameplay being collective unconscious from the ynoproject

I watched a longplay of Yume Nikki years ago when I was sick
Right after that I watched a speedrun
Fun times

I played Yume Nikki several times, never finished it tho, vibe with it, still. Really need to check out the fangames

on the yno project you can play them in your browser. It's multiplayer too! (if you want to be alone you can turn it off though)

At the very least they didn't deny that yume nikki was an inspiration in the reddit AMA they did a year ago

You know, I only really watched a full playthrough of oneshot years ago, back in december 2021.

Then this year Last year in 2024 I tried playing the freeware version on yno... but... the trauma is still there... I killed niko.
(fuck, time passes quickly )

You what?
Holy hell, do her justice and get her back home!

Thanks to this, I finally got around to seeing the Yume Nikki ending, after having had the game on perma-hiatus twice.

Now I can finally start the fan games, starting with Yume 2kki.
Will vibe through it at first, only wander, look through the world, only check out the guides after the vibing gets repetitive

[panzerkampfwagyu]

2kki has quite a different vibe than nikki.
Nikki was quiet and empty
2kki is sensory overload

Can't believe this game is 22 years old. Is Kikiyama even still alive?

About the game, the Toriningen Party BGM has been my alarm clock for the past 12 years or so.

Lol.
You actually can destroy yuri in Yume 2kki

[benshapiro]

Still one of my fave rpgm game and coolest rpgm map designs imo. But don't ask me if I've finished the game.
