Best Rune Factory game ?

So I was wondering what the general favorite Rune Factory game is her on this forum as the franchise has a couple of games now you could say,
and everyone has their own preference of course may it be because of gameplay lore or characters or all of them.

Personally my favorite is the Rune Factory 4 I like the Town and like the NPC there especially Clorica

I can relate to her on a deeper level she is by far my favorite in the game followed by Dolce and Forte if she would not try to poison me by giving me literal poison after marriage that is .

My Second Favorite is a bit harder but I guess its Rune Factory 3 there many many characters in the game and the town is nice the Characters are nice to but they felt a bit more bland compared to 4 yet still good enough.

Rune Factory 2 I don't have much to add honestly I barely played that one as I got frustrated back then but I should give it another run I guess.
but the opening slaps.

I do also like Rune Factory frontier not anywhere near as Rune Factory 4 but its okay and it would be maybe my third or fourth favorite in the series.

Rune Factory 5 did feel a bit cheaper for me in many ways like when the Princess had to sleep in the dungeon for the duration of the game where I was just are you fricking serious

which should be a crime come on there was zero I mean zero reason to deny us to date her especially since I already liked Clorica in 4 but now deny me my sleepy girlfriend in 5 the other bachelorettes in 5 where not the worst but a downgrade from 4 in my opinion but I guess the Elf was nice.

Rune Factory Frontier
It was a alright I liked some of the Characters but the are likely the most bland besides 1 maybe in the series
the gameplay was okay I enjoyed it enough but far from my favorite.

Rune Factory 1 I have nothing to say I did not give it a try or when I did I forgot it.

Rune Factory tides of Destiny was decent enough like the Characters in this game but its likely the least Rune Factory like game of the whole bunch but its a pretty good game and it never came to Europe anyway.. because of course it did not we don't matter after all apparently.

Kinda stopped @4 since my preferences weren't met [aka similar to your complaint w/ 5]
Of the ones I played, think I played

1. 3 the most, due to the instance dungeon allowing me to grind combat skills w/o time passing.

2. 2 second, due to Alicia; but yeah, the changing protag to your kid wasn't all it's cracked up to be.
2b. They should have saved this for a later installment. Something with generational mechanics, where your family claims land to builds up a farm / develop a town thro the generations.

3. Barely finished 1's story -- since I was playing 1&2 co-currently, so 2 just had more to it.
3a. Tho, think this is the only one where I full completed the story(due to my DS's screen breaking; shouldn't have put it on the bed's headboard).

4. Dropped 4 after awhile -- Mainly due to time constraints, but most of it's mechanics weren't all that new. & the LIs just weren't attractive enough to bother.
