All this capitalism talk got me thinking, I wonder how good the OP going to look in the HD version. :meguu:
Maybe if they are being ambitious they'll even do a new OP? I hope they keep Recette singing if so.

...probably not, they're doing an HD remaster of Recettear, not a sequel.

Though I do bring some unfortunate news. The original group that translated Recettear to it's full glory, Carpe Fulgur, is ceasing operation because the founder (Andrew Dice) has died. I remember reading that they were stoked to translate Recettear HD when it was going to come out.


Truly a shame, this is the same group that brought Trails in the Sky to the west all those years ago, so I have a deep respect for these guys for pioneering so many games during a time when it was still niche. And it was so cool to see them back working on Trails through Daybreak.
