I get what you're saying but Niko can be self dependent and I've been around junkies enough to know when someone is spiraling. If you don't cut soon enough, you'll witness true horrors.

Like, there was no contract about the assault Chie did, she just presumed she could belt him if she gave him 10mil. He's not dumb, there's likely to be consequences for that too. Anyone who's willing to pay to commit violence might turn that power on you, especially in frustration. I mean in Chie's eyes, is Niko reason for not chasing the new girl into the crowd justified? Is she going to act rationally?

I mean this is all speculation and I know it's just a comedy and I'm thinking too deep into it but in the real world, I would cut and run if I were her.
