Pretty sure @landstalker is referring to how some "translators" blindly trust the output of the machine without bothering to check if it even matches the context of the drawings. A good example of this is mismatched pronouns: AI can't detect the gender of the speaker and/or subject from text so it inserts a pronoun that doesn't match the character's gender. A blatant disconnect between the dialogue and the art is a good indicator of a bad AI translation.i'm trying to crosscheck with other sources other than just the MTL itself, such as dictionaries, wikipedia, the anime subtitles, etc. Sometimes it can still be a bit choppy, but that might be because of my own error lol.
I understand how you feel, and i'm not trying to defend myself, believe me, i wish there is someone else more competent that can translate this, and i still feel awful for doing this translation work. However, this series has been on a loop of getting translated for one chapter and then being dormant for a long period of time, so i wanted to try to fill a gap for this series, even if what i'm doing is admittedly subpar at bestNah, doing an MTL and posting it is one, a false alarm on people that actually want a good translations' update, two, prevents a good translator from picking it up because they see it's already "translated". If you want to read something with an MTL, it's fine to use and keep it to yourself. DON'T post it.
Even an "edited" MTL can't qualify as a translation, because if you don't have someone who actually knows the language doing it they won't catch the machine's mistakes.
You adding (MTL) to your titles is against rule 2.4.3 of the guidelinesAlso as a general note, right after i woke up earlier, i noticed that the mtl signs in the chapter headers were gone, and i don't know why, exactly
i've always tried to denote that my translation work uses mtl, and i just did reinstate that sign, but i don't know why, before i went to sleep, it still had the mtl signs, so it's kinda bizarre

that also breaks the rules. Probably just no one noticed and reported it since it was released.i see
but there's the alternative release in chapter 19, why exactly is it still that? i'm not necessarily objecting, but why is that the case?
i seethat also breaks the rules. Probably just no one noticed and reported it since it was released.
MD relies on user reports to enforce the rules.
Having a note about it on the credits page is probably the only rule compliant way to do iti see
well, i'm trying to make it clear that my work uses mtl, but i'm a bit of a stickler in the sense that i feel it's a bit cumbersome to add more pages for a disclaimer (except this one, but that's because this release is a reupload lol, and i do maintain that for every other release)
i don't know if the disclaimer in the back is good enough, so i had the mtl sign on the upload title for good measure, but i wonder if there's another way to do so if i can't do the mtl sign on the upload title

Once again though, i understand and will oblige if people want me to stop doing this, and if they also want me to delete my work off of here, then i will do so
