I haven't read the source material, but wtf is with this writing? It's like the Mangaka has the worst case of ADHD and can't string together 2 pages of coherent conversation and dialogue. Everyone the MC has met thus far seems hell bent on killing him during first contact. I mean I get that is what colonists do... But angels? Public safety? And a head of the clan? It is like they all failed the basic courtesy of self-introduction and pleading for a boon/favor or even negotiation.
At least the art looks good I guess?

So they really fully changed the sacrifice in the manga, in the novel this part was a lot better.
The sacrifice was the gal sister, when MC got invited and the topic came up he casually said that the violent sister would be a better pick as a sacrifice as her bloodline was proven, unlike gal what father is unknown, the family agreed with him and decided to switch the sacrifice, that made violent girl tremble in fear after being selected.
