I guess it was true, but just let the author have fun, since it’s the second-to-last time Akane and Nadeshiko have unhinged sex in the comic!
(Yes, I have read it to the finale in my local translation teams’s version. All things went well, and only normal and wholesome stuff up ahead if no other extras were planned, so I guess it’s perfectly acceptable for the author to cram some additional fetishes in this VR experience which could n’t have made it to the story otherwise.)

But still, although the sex was filler, the isolation of Akane and Nadeshiko through VR is in fact necessary if you ask me. I hope it didn’t come off as too “spoiler”, but it all went better than what I would have expected.
Also the virtual Nadeshikos were very hot! Have to give props for the author to do this so that Akane only have sex with Nadeshiko and no one else throughout the entire series!

And for coming back to MangaDex after both ComicK and Batocomics got nuked just like that… (I don’t even know where else you post this if not here, since Dynastyscans isn’t continuing either. Well, English is not exactly my first language, so I’m talking about the Chinese Yuri community, actually. (And it was a bumpy one, like I can’t believe how many scanlation teams/individuals this single manga went through over here just to get everything done, because the waiting process for one team is getting too long so some others had to take over for the time being.) But since this manga‘s anime adaptation is currently on air, folks were pretty excited, and stuff gets finished quicker, and it’s only episode two so far.

That’s okay, we’re just happy to see you still here finishing this Yuri for all of us. At least MangaDex is still standing (albeit battered and broken) unlike the other two. (I’m the most frustrated about batoto, since that’s practically the only place where I can get the best kind of Korean gay comic fix. Not to mention the countless user experience and comments gone…)

But yeah, that incident a few months ago was still a pain, with those sites getting hit over the months, even though folks like you are still trying to rebuild. At this rate there’s only one manga on my list that I’m genuinely worried about getting completely dropped because of inactivity and the lack of audience (that scanlation team also seemed to have evaporated since the whole DMCA business), so that’s good enough I suppose. (And yes, it’s also Yuri, just with comrade bonding instead of romance, and feels like it was inspired by “Otherside Picnic” plus a lot of military fighting.)

Kouhei Shibata is super talented at art, and he does Yuri comedy in such an unhinged and crazy way which can be seen in one of his previous manga Reki and Yomi. He even once submitted a oneshot to Yurihime if I recall correctly.
With how crazy each of his work is, it couldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but he also like do really feel-good stuff regularly, with some deeper feelings sprinkled in, and I’m the type of guy who can really appreciate genuine feels through unconventional ways. Gives a lot more surprises than the average Yuri.
And I’ll say it again but the art is so good and detailed. Almost like the mangaka is challenging himself with how many artistic expressions and marks to put on the background and especially on the girls’ faces.

Not to sound like a doomer, but some scanlation groups left the scan world after both the mangadex/comick disaster

I'm glad to see this back. It's pretty horny for a yuri series, but it looks like we should get a decent conclusion to the romance aspect.

I don't really use the other sites people have mentioned shut down, but it looks like a tough time for manga fans. From what I've heard it's largely a Korean company that keeps putting the pressure on; I feel like if sites would just avoid their manhwa then we'd be in a much better position for the Japanese manga scanlation community. The one alternate site I use still seems unaffected, but I don't know if they support direct uploads or just scrape other sources. It was the first place I went after the MD takedown and I have no idea why it gets so little attention, but I guess maybe that's a good thing? I kept mentioning it when other people collectively seemed to decide on comick instead for unclear reasons, and it's still fine while everyone else seems to be shutting down.

I don't know why, but I'd say this was on the "tame side" compared to other chapters

While true, it's still a LOT compared to my current comfort levels of stuff. Although I think part of that is because I like emotional intimacy to be VERY interlocked with physical intimacy in stuff I read. I'm also not a huge fan of poly/harem stuff, as I'm very monogamous, so even though this was a bunch of copies of Nadeshiko, it's just not the type of thing I typically enjoy reading. Although I imagine it's exacerbated by the fact that I'm still suffering from from getting caught up on Shuukura's web novel in the span of a week and loving every bit of it. I need more slow burn emotional intimacy that eventually leads into physical intimiacy, and this series tends to not fit that sometimes.
