damn , dis shit good man.
great drama. a good anime director could really elevate this scene, it's got a lot of good stuff to work with. I'm thinking Tetsuro Araki plus WIT.
They managed to make me feel a bit torn up over Rez with only like 20 total pages of screen time imagine what a slightly flreshed out anime adaptation can do.
It reminds me of the episode in cyberpunk where Maine turns into a cyberpsycho.
I guess this might be a very short manga if the MC is going to go crazy and die within a week. Those hallucination and internal perspective pages are dope though so I'm glad we're going to get a lot of them.

This chapter answers all my questions from the last chapter. but still I wonder why Renza has that mark on her eye when she didn't after meeting up with the gang after she carried out the F9 attack?
Also, I really don't think the regime is going to buy that Kiriya is actually a normal civilian who happened to disarm a gun and shoot renza just as the drones arrive. The regime might play along in order to catch the rest of Kiriya's terrorist cel I guess.

thanks for the chapter and super quick translations again.

Its kind of ironic that Lowell is actually right in a way since these people with super powers are actually a danger and come from people who are unhinged, but so is Lowell it's causing a catastrophic feedback loop.
Is the problem of the "thoma theorem" that if men define as real a situation it will become real in it's consequences.
For instance a bank run fearing it has run out of money, if everyone did it, it would happen.

This case is similar to another real world event, when innocent and terrorist were both locked in Guantanamo bay and then some of them radicalised.
Remember that the US tried secession peacefully as well, and that people like Washington could be considered terrorists too.

It is self fulfilled prophecy,His act of Dictatorship make the superpower exist in Batch,His act of executing,Brainwash and experiment contribute greatly in the casualty

In chapter 2, page 10, Tsubaki says, and I quote:
"In apparent response to Lowell's emergence, a very small number of people have begun to be born with special abilities."
Although there is no direct proof, there seems to be correlation, as apparently super powers were NOT a thing before Lowell, and thus, that life is finding a way to rebalance itself. Therefore, Lowell is right in the sense that he's trying to fix a problem that he himself is the source of.

It's basically the self-fulfilling prophecy. The system creates a fundamental paradox where you punish people with super powers because of the assumption that they will be unstable and dangerous, which just means they have to be unstable and dangerous to potentially survive the system that will hunt them down.

Well, this feels like the authors have read both 1984 and Akudama Drive....
As well as possibly Psycho Pass and 20th Century Boy.

Damn, what a mix of those!
(Not bad tho)
