Sometimes the author doesn't like the manga adaptation and approves a second one. I think that's the case with Apothecary Diaries?

I used to like this version more for the extra details in the art until they started using CGI for the monsters and some other stuff. The other version is enjoyable, but it skips too much in my opinion.

reminded me to ascend of bookworm and re-zero too, each arc are its own thing with different artist instead everything being continous volumes. It confuses the hell out of me.

Do young "nobles" in Japanese manga get no education at all? The child of a noble generally holds a courtesy title or no title of nobility at all. Depending on the system, like primogeniture as an example, the agnatic child (the eldest son) is to inherit the entirety or majority of their parents' estate, property, or titles. Then there are other systems where the title needs to be earned in order to be kept in the family. Like the Russian Table of Ranks, Peter the Great established a system where nobility was granted to those who achieved a certain rank in military or civil service.

The other ones a spin-off side story that gives unseen scenes from what I can see. Fairly sure this is the main story.
