Did the guy glue the dagger to his shoe or something? Seems to be an odd way to stab the other guy's hand. Seems like the author was trying to make it seem cooler, but missed something in how they portrayed it.

I mean, he looked believably male as the hero class. The problem, like you've said, is how he stands and dresses. If he just dressed up in a more masculine way and kept a stronger bearing, he'd come across as a very pretty boy.
