I get it, but it also feels a bit cheap how Bridget didn't ever really need to learn to accept her scars or anything. Just "oh no don't loo-- oh look the phoenix healed it. Nevermind!"

I'd maybe be less critical of it if it didn't seem like this whole time the manga's been avoiding showing her scars as anything serious (I think this amount of detail here's the most detail it's been shown), but it really felt like the whole time the manga itself was shying away from the scars just like Bridget was (especially with how afaik from what I've heard, her scarring was a lot more severe in the source material). Like "oh here's a story about a girl who's supposed to have a huge complex over these horrific burns she has, but I'll make sure to never draw them when possible and gloss over them, until they get magically fixed".
