after skimming on the WN, at least the direction is kinda different compared to the other black knight reincarnated as maid, but the pacing in the WN is quite slow and the WN is not event completed until today

the story later develop into how mc train this noble girl, another noble girl, a boy, and chuunibyou vampire girl
this story is very /u/ , tough the mc still conflicted on how to respond from the noble girl strong advance

the mc got her battle instinct after fighting to death with mc former enemy in his previous life, the enemy decided to keep toying with mc by wounding and healing mc to break mc spirit, but it only give the chance for the mc to adapt to the new body and finally got her former strength back

maybe some people will upset that until the latest episode in the WN, mc still decided to hide the fact he is reincarnated sword saint but there's a very good reason for that, especially to hide this fact from the main villain who reincarnated mc into the maid
also to avoid his elf apprentice to become too dependent on mc and cant develop her own skill, since the elf apprentice condition is quite bad now by stubbornly following mc style even tough its not suited on her
mc trained the new apprentice so they can beat the elf apprentice

While I like manga, the basic premise throws me off.

He says he had bad luck with women
Disciple is literally a hot elf girl who is devoted to him

I mean, I get it, he didn't consider her a romantic thing because of the master/disciple thing, and he sees her as a daughter, but that's not exactly bad luck with women, unless he means bad luck in getting a girlfriend or wife.
