Mangadex to purge titles for legal reasons

Just nuke the entire website at this point before the greedy corporate hijacker can successfully make profit off of the community's years of hard work. Mangadex is already a husk of a website after the DMCA purge anyway.

The site is about a community of manga fans who do FAN projects. Its all for and by the fans.

While I am not around long enough to know the inside jokes or what the regulars there consider as harmless fun, it's not my place to fun police, it's the internet after all, I can understand where you are coming from.

The other way around also has to be respected as well if you are asking people from this thread to be civil on the other thread. While sure, some people here are less than pleasant to be around, from what I have seen, the people from the casual chatting thread have been constantly mocking and making jabs, mocking, dismissing and downright antagonizing at the genuine concerns made by the people in this thread for a dozen pages now.

mangadex has been my life raft after the other sites fell, so hurts to see it, constantly, suffering from some kind of major problem.

personally, i won't be abandoning ship anytime soon, but obviously have diversified my portfolio since the last purge

You got the point right, I want to be as neutral as possible but the whole thread getting like that because they have soft spot for some mods, I'm included. I think instead bandwagoning with everyone some choose people they been interacting with instead.

Is there at least a list of titles that have been removed and cannot be reposted? This move takes out a huge chunk of shoujo/josei smut since a lot of it takes place in high school - at least let us have a list so we know what needs to be found elsewhere instead of playing a guessing game of what is or isn't allowed.
