Why are yuri fans so fascinated with cuck shit?
I went back here because I saw that it ended and uh... yeah as expected it was hella anticlimactic. I think that last part at the observatory was nice but overall the fact I already knew what was going to happen really lowered my interest with the story.Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I really appreciate you explaining what worked for you and what didn’t, and I totally respect your perspective
I do think some parts of the story might have been interpreted a bit differently than the way they were intended, so I just wanted to clarify a couple of things. The phone call in Chapter 4 isn’t really meant to spoil the whole direction of the story. It shows where Eri and Kyou-hei are emotionally at that moment, not where they’ll end up. The following chapters are about them untangling misunderstandings and learning to communicate better. Their choices can feel frustrating or “illogical,” but they line up with their personalities—Kyou-hei being awful at expressing himself and Eri misreading him because of her insecurities.
There actually is character development, but it’s a slow burn. Kyou-hei’s growth shows more clearly later when he starts facing the consequences of how he handled things. Iyo and Kiseki also get more depth as the story moves on, though it’s true the manga doesn’t focus on them as strongly in the early chapters.
A lot of the messy decisions are intentional. The story leans into the idea that love makes people act irrationally, especially teenagers who barely know how to communicate their feelings. The chaos feels frustrating at times, but it’s part of the theme rather than a sign of weak writing.
For me personally, the reason I enjoyed it is because the emotional messiness felt grounded and human. I liked that the characters weren’t perfect or instantly likable, and that their growth came from stumbling through misunderstandings instead of magically fixing everything. The later chapters made the earlier frustration feel worth it, because you can see how much the characters have been shaped by their mistakes. It wasn’t always comfortable to read, but it felt honest, and that’s what made the story resonate with me.
I definitely agree with you that Chapters 20 to 23 are some of the best. They bring the characters’ mistakes, confusion, and emotions to a point where things finally start to move forward. The earlier frustration becomes more meaningful when you see how everything comes together.
Either way, even if we see some parts differently, I’m glad you still ended up having a good experience with it. I’m curious to hear what you’ll think after the last three chapters.
It's actually really a gl it had finally ended 20 days ago and it's really gl and character development and YEP GIRLS LOVEE IM NOT LYINGJust a warning for people Looking for a “true” GL story then, this is not for you.
This is another GL series where one of the MC girls get a boyfriend in the first chapter…
It's actually really girls love pookie✌️🥹 they got you know 👰💍👰♀️Cause it literally happened in the first chapter. One MC girl Got together with the boy in the first chapter and kissed 1 second later… So far the series have just become worse and worse every chapter….
I agree. I was so annoyed with the Eri character and behavior that I didn't care at all if they ended up together or notWell, this is not the ending I was expecting and I personally find it absolutely disappointing.
The building of the story was emotionally heavy, dramatic, and we never see Fuyuki or Eri grow much or develope into a healthy cuple, the last time we see them they are actually agreeing to date because Eri doesn't see an other way to keep Fuyuki in her life, but never realy see a woman in love with her partner.
I understand people wanted a happy ending, but I honestly would have preferred a more realistic one attune with the rest of the story.
This should have been a dumed yuri, at least for Fuyuki x Eri. I would have liked it better if the story had a couple of more chapters showing us Fuyuki maturing in her sexuality and finding someone who actually loves her right.
This was the classic sappy yuri end, and this story wasn't a sappy yuri
