Also on rereading, I just noticed the manga did included Rare deploying her Discerning Feather Barrier* skill (she also deployed it during her revenge against Wayne), while she didn't say the skill name out loud, the visual effects of the feathers floating around are there throughout the panels. The manga did left out explaining what the skill does tho. tl;dr she can "see" every movement within the area covered by the feathers, costing a bit of MP at an interval until she disabled it.

*Just a side note, apparently that skill name has a innuendo, as explained in the TN of the fan translation of the WN. The j-novel localized it to Lustrous Maiden’s Sanctum instead.

It's the opposite, those two in the past were in service for the spirit king, and those current 6 royalty's are descendants of the betrayer who killed the spirit king in the past, so those idiots are using the spirit king artifact to meddle with dias and sieg current lord (Rare) is like spitting on those two faces.

Thank you for the correction, I'm vaguely remember they're death is related to the spirit king, and looking by their reaction to that name, I was assuming it's because they had beef with the spirit king😅

Honestly, I preferred their skeleton designs. They were kinda unique. They look a little less special. I mean, I dont dislike them, but still...

Well just the fact that a group like that was capable of taking her down in the first place, regardless of how arrogant she was being, shows that she doesn't exactly have no competition. They're all players after all, anyone's capable of teaching the strength she's at and it doesn't seem like the games even been out for that long. Given enough time it felt like a group of pros could've gotten strong enough to pose a genuine threat to her but that was before I knew she wasn't even as strong as she could've been...
