Honestly they feel closer to the actual couples I can see when taking the train, too many Romcoms have this idea of making a kiss even after the first some kind of grand event, put it on a pedestal, but no, normal couples will kiss, a lot.
Somehow they are more likely to write a couple wanting to get married before finishing High school than having them hit second base.
