Wouldn't his dragon Waifu or her mother just step on them a little cause them to back off? And even if they didn't use force, he has the GDP of a small nation. It should be more then enough economic clout to either squeeze their ability to buy his goods, or just funnel his products into and thrue their rival's territories.

And If all else fails, he just packs up his shit onto his floating island and sets up shop in a neighboring nation, or even the other side of the world.
