A friend told me I was very mature because I'm "caring and kind".
Weird definition of mature, I though.

So what is your? What makes someone mature to your eyes?

An adult is just a kid who learned to be responsible.

Someone who's mature exudes qualities that we associate with that.
Where childish people are impulsive, reckless and inconsiderate, mature people are more restraint, careful and considerate.

Then there are also qualities that make people look "fancy" like being confident without showing off and showing intelligence, sophistication and class that are also considered mature.

Either way, don't worry about it. Not being insecure about how mature you are is also part of being more mature. ;)

I'm not mad at the AMA itself, I just don't want to get tricked again, asshat.
That's what you get for liking feet.

"Ass-criptive" heh.
some say that being mature means not taking yourself too seriously, and being able to emit normatively 'childish' humor in the proper social environments without actually being self-conscious that it will diminish your actual or perceived character.

the comment you just made, however, does not fall under that category. there is no context in which this remark can or ever will be considered 'mature', and i feel personally offended that it even reached my eyes.
