The manga has yet to even dip its toes into the truly bat-shit nigh unsurvivable insanity that gets thrown at Utamaro later on.
The pied piper encounter was the equivalent of a combat tutorial, e.g. lv1 slime/goblin/rabbit fight, by the standard of the later half of the series.
Love both of these series to bits. There's no reason why both of these should be as good as they are, but I'm not gonna complain when I'm eating this good thanks to them.

I don't think so, I think at least Sylphy is too powerful for their world to handle her presence and that's why they're chibi-fied.

As far as the sfx go - I would say a middle ground could be a small English translation of the sound effect, included alongside the JPN.

yeah, for now I've been just doing the ones that are dialogue type sfx but it does feel a tad weird to only do those when there's a ton of sfx that I could still kinda tl
jp also has different sfx so it would also feel weird to tl since stuff like the "paaa" that appears whenever someone gets happy or whatever has no real english equivalent as far as I'm aware, so writing "happy" or whatever next to them would just feel dumb
and same for background sfx that appear like in jojo's

only downside is the time it would probably take since there is a ton of sfx, although andy handles the typesetting so I would just dump the more time consuming part of sfx onto him

Since you're taking suggestions, I'd like to offer one--though it was inspired by chapter 36 (I wait until I have four chapters to read--this is Sylphy we're talking about).

The bolded part is language that shouldn't be used for Sylphy's expressions (unless the JP equivalent, either verbatim or in general style, is what she actually says). It's a colloquialism of Millennials and their successor generations who've placed less importance on reading and self-education and more on using slang and such colloquialisms as the bolded part of the quote to sound "cool". It reeks of ignorance--an ignorance Sylphy clearly doesn't possess, being as refined as she appears to be (you see this in Eldgard and in the human world...when she's not going silly with Lucelia); you can also see it clash directly with everything else she says in that panel, because the kinds of people who say "I can't with" are exactly the kinds of people who don't use language such as "decline" to express a refusal or describe something offensive to the nose specifically as a "putrid smell" (i.e., not only would such people not use language such as "putrid", they'd be a lot less specific and simply say the offender "stinks").

A simple solution would be to use "couldn't bear" in place of "can't with".

been reading less really poorly mtled manga and my english has restored itself to a more proper level so current chapters should have far less mistakes than older ones
will pass it onto andy but don't know if it'll get fixed since its an old chapter, thanks for the feedback

It was only a general suggestion regarding consistency in Sylphy's depiction going forward rather than an indication of something that has an active need to be corrected--the chapter's already been out for a while, as you said.
