Since there was so much discussion of the differences between the We novel and the LightNovel I decided to add the Web novel version of the fight at the end of the chapter. If there's ever anything similar people want added feel free to let me know. I don't mind since its not much work.

It feels somewhat comforting to know that in a fantasy world of various skills and abilities that the concept of "blunt force trauma to the head" exists to ground it and connect us to it.

Things I hope we get out of this arc; more control, less ancestors outside of battle, and more insight into the curse/demon possessing his sister. Also, the first elder's obsession with Aria is weird, leave that girl alone!

Her getting angry is NOT going to help him grow a spine. He should just tell those two to go eat some ass or jump if they feel froggy. But HE has to be the one to stand up and that growth is slow in coming. I guess when you were treated like trash by your WHOLE family for the MAJORITY of your life it might be a little hard to over come so I'll cut him some slack. That being said the man boy really needs to take his harem seriously, sigh.

I was actually curious to see how Aria awakened the art in the WN, although I'm still deciding if reading it now or saving for when I start the WN.
So Lyle can buff his companions, I wonder if itnalso works in reverse and let him borrow Arts from others.

Yeah the "heh" was bothering me too but I Kinda thought "a?" read like a typo since I don't think Ive read any manga tl that uses it in that manner.
Either way I changed it thanks for the feedback

So the WN is pretty drastically different. There's fewer characters, but it seems to generally follow the same pace and story. If you start with the manga and move to the WN you will be confused

No, not the case. But they have barely touched on the uses of the skill, they held off on it until a bit later in the WN. It's fairly overpowered, but not in the way you'd expect
