Interesting; so the guide says that in exchange for taking the shortcut, they are locked out of getting the strongest melee weapons from the bandits and completing the collection encyclopedia. Wonder if that’ll be inconvenient later.

It's not a game, but a living, breathing world. In the game, the bandit stronghold area is locked behind quest, but real world doesn't have such constraint; they can always go there to retrieve the sword. Of course, it might affect how the future will unfold or what happened in the background of the game story. It could be that butterfly effect lead to the sword being lost, or the actual reason why the stronghold become inaccessible is because the knights raided and destroyed the stronghold.

Sorry guys, I made a mistake:
On the TLN, I wrote "Gesoya is the village name, Geso is the cuisine" but it was the other way around. "Geso" is the village name, and "Gesoya" is the cuisine, thus invalidating my argument there.
I'll update that TLN once I got back from work, probably this morning.

I really like this manga, I want to say the premise, but remembered another series with similar one that went full comedic and batshit craziness and realize that manga wasn't for me.

This feel nicer as in she doesn't become OP at all, she is still just a merchant girl with grounded approach. I like her use of the strategy book, actually remind me how I would read and do the guide when I was a young child.

I'm confused, the prince's armor looks alright, especially compared to hero-sama.

Obviously it's a fanservice armor, looks at Sana haha. The prince probs got the "mage" armor (usually more covered than berserker type)

It feels like the thief's head is so huge compared to the rest of his body. It's distracting when the guidebook's example of the thief group has realistic proportions.
