Yeah, is patethic when they make the MC too much of a goody-two-shoes, even the part about putting it back is dumb, should leave it in a place where royal guards pass with a note that it was taken by this pig noble secret collection.
If his stealing the sword that was tolen for a good cause feels bad he should feel even worse as the guard he swapped with should be fired or exectued.
Is always detestable when a author make a MC that is too unbalanced with morality and is not their basic personality.

Kind of feel like this story is dropping in quality ever since he defeated that vamp kid. It could also be that my expectations ruined it for me.
I appreciate the work put into making it, and translating it thus far, but this is one of those stories that should have kept the beginning premise much closer than it currently is; I imagine it like if Sora from KH got the keyblade and was told to seal the keyholes in the worlds but instead of sealing them at the conclusion of each world, he just left until he made it to the "final keyhole".
They, imo, should have reintroduced the maid that raised him to have been deemed useless for failing to keep tabs on a child for this upcoming arc and started a redemption take.

Indeed, the goddess told him to go retrieve the Holy Sword. This is basically a revelation. 😂 He shouldn't question the morality of this. Especially after the goddess told him that the rich guy shouldn't have it in the first place.

Hmmm, what a dilemma.

The weapon you need is being held by a greedy business man. I see two options to get him to simply hand it over, both appeal to his greed. Tell him he'll be branded a hero for providing the tool that saves everyone, and the new attention will bring massive sales to his company. If he doesn't hand it over, he'll be branded a traitor for siding with the enemy, all of his property and possibly his life are forfeit. Easy to see which path is more profitable. Any third option is only a short term gain, with a long term loss. Not good for business.
