Ah you're right. Thinking it over again I think there's still a problem with portability.

Either it's a singular village girl and you have to stay within a pretty small area to preserve the village aspect.

Or it's multiple village girls, which sorta feels like a waste? Of body hopping? If you're on a body hopping journey you should probably be going for a wider variety of hosts.
