Because for him almost 100 years have passed so until we start getting to the world's in the '80s I don't think he's going to remember them very well.Until now I didn't even think about who kidnapped Mimilu.
Why doesn't Ed think about anything from any of the other 98 worlds?
The art makes the waiting feel more worth it.
By the time he gets to the 80s, it's going to have been many years and a lot will have happened. Even then it's gonna be hard to remember much.Because for him almost 100 years have passed so until we start getting to the world's in the '80s I don't think he's going to remember them very well.
Maybe they're just degenerate gamblers trying to fix a match for a massive outcome; after all, Waffles is a dark horse underdog.Who is the culprit is pretty much guaranteed to be Waffles' patron... but the question is... why?
Waffles never met the man, sure, that is suspicious, but Waffles already had gained some fame, he showed true potential, so a patron wanting to help a new talent isn't strange, even if they don't meet.
But, why kidnap Mimilu and blackmail like that, when this isn't just a normal tournament? This is a critical moment for their country, the warrior chosen here will be their last big hope on something even all their warriors haven't been able to do yet.
Again... the reasoning could be as simple as just greed, even in a moment of necessity... but it doesn't feel "compelling" enough to call it just greed.
He's going through these worlds currently in a matter of months so I don't think it will be that long by the time we get to the 80sBy the time he gets to the 80s, it's going to have been many years and a lot will have happened. Even then it's gonna be hard to remember much.
Even at 3 months per world, that's still 20 years. He's going through these worlds currently in a matter of months so I don't think it will be that long by the time we get to the 80s
got my own theory. the Patron is a human, and thinks by making someone weaker, like Waffles, instead of Doben, the Hero, they will fail in killing the demon lord, which means, the beastmen are kept in check fighting demons, hence humans keep prospering... well, theory, all signs so far, point towards that. especially since, Waffles never meets the patron in the previous life.Who is the culprit is pretty much guaranteed to be Waffles' patron... but the question is... why?

I like Waffles' fighting style, it is simple stuff, but his being very short creates such an interesting contrast with all the other animalian warriors.
And despite there being a bias for height in the animalian, Waffles clearly has won his recognition, he isn't the favorite, but people recognize his skills by his efforts and results.
What is they are another world traveler and this is part of the plan. In the original ending Waffles does save the world, he just loses his heart in the process. One person's loss for the gain of the world would be a calculated risk for stuff like this.Who is the culprit is pretty much guaranteed to be Waffles' patron... but the question is... why?
