Whenever Kuri Kinton is mentioned I always think of the episode of Yakitate Japan where they have to incorporate it into their bread.

Also does nobody know what their Emperor looks like in this series? I guess they don't expect him to be in a restaurant without escorts and stuff but still, he's on a damn coin for fuck's sake.

To be fair, from what I've read, people's appearances in paintings and sculpture (of which I'd argue coinage could be included) was often quite different than how they really looked in real life back in the day. Which is to say, people's impression of what George Washington looked like based on paintings and one dollar bills would not match what he probably looked like in real life.

That said, weren't all the regulars were at the wedding reception at Nobu?

its incredible how good the writing of this manga is. it does such a good job at characterising people that have only JUST been introduced and establishing them as compelling characters with strong identities. all within a SINGLE chapter. we learn so much about Sebastien and his relationship to Reinhold and Godhart in these 32 pages. and as a bonus, we get to see Godhart talking to Reinhold not only as the senior guildmaster, but also (in his own words) a brother. just. WOW!!

To be fair, it's adapted from the light novel and a novel before that, so I think the source material is probably doing a lot of the heavy lifting in terms of characterization that the adaptation can draw from.
