Mangas where the main character is just living (mostly) normally within the setting

Does anyone have recommendations for mangas that don't have a clear direction the plot is moving in and are more about the main character living within the world of the manga?

I'm looking for something like Drifting Dragons or Rebuild World. (I know Rebuild World seems to have some sort of overachieving secret plot, but as of right now, the manga is mainly focused on the main character being a bounty hunter)

I'm really trying to digest what you want.
Because I understand about Drifting Dragons where the characters just want to live a day to day life in that fantasy world,
as in it is an adventure but also slice of life in fantasy world. Hopping from one place to another just to eat dragons.

But then you put Rebuild World, which has a very different tone.
And with his "companion", I wouldn't consider him living "normally"

Drifting Dragons is a garbage.

Ultimately Akira is just living as a bounty hunter which is normal within the world in the same way draking is normal within Drifting Dragons. Yes Akira is special with having the support of an AI, but he's not the only one with it, and as of right now he's still pretty at a pretty low level within what's been shown of the world. Like I said in my post, Alpha does seem to have some kind of grand plan for Akira, but as of right now Akira is not trying to beat some big bad or save the world. He's just trying to make money and live.

Basically what interests me most in both mangas is the setting, and both focus on world building instead of an overarching plot

Hmm... So a world building focused manga huh, do they have to be in a fantasy world? :thonk:
Not necessarily but I would be very impressed if an author could somehow pull off world building in a manga set in real life. I don't see how it's possible to world build without some kind element that differs from our own world. The only way I can think of without any sci-fi or fantasy is if the setting is alt-history

Would you get mad if I recommend one of the stuff I have uploaded then?

It's a cute slice of life story about an octopus girl acclimating to the human world, but the author actually put a lot of thought into the world building in subtle ways. Not sure if this is the type of stuff you are looking for. If not, you are free to ignore it, I will not hold it against you.

by that logic, even Chainsaw Man counts
