thank you for the upload, so sus-sensei returns and Mirai is keeping the defused womb-nuke close to her chest yay character development. I know its to soon or likely to much to hope for at this point in the series but I sincerely hope Shizuka starts getting some development or characterization, yes I know their just a baby but at least then it would be easier to see them as more of a character and part of the cast an less like oh its the former and currently disarmed curse bomb that Mirai tried to use to delete the rest of her family tree.

What's the deal with the ghost that was clinging on to the teacher? IIRC the ghosts in this series usually tie into a fear or spooky tale of some sort. What's the deal with this one? Some sorta child abuse thing? "Don't tell her" reads pretty in line with that. Or is it just some fuckass guy?

oh, i think there will be development, funny how nobody in the thread remark the obvious thing, the little sister doesn't ressemble kaya, and that is a very important thing, the baby is not created from the cursed womb but have the power of a prietress.

For the little sister I think you meant she doesn't resemble Mirai, and I'd say she look more like Satou especially the hair, as for the Ebisumori's power I'll say I'm in the "She won't have it" camp.

Since unlike Kaya who was fully born as a manifested curse + being a first child, Shizuku was still in the belly at the time and her curse got pass-a-fist by Kaya.

Though I can see the author trying and let Shizuku retains some form of power, like maybe just seeing them but can't blast them to bit like Kaya for example.

I have to check past chapters to see whether only the priestesses were living dead still born like existences because of the cursed womb technique. not sure if it was used for wombs also...

personally i think she will retain them, the fact that her name is a direct reference to number 9 is not a hazard, plus the womb curse is in reality a cloning processus with a link to the original prietress, what was exorcised was the link with the 1 priestress that can manifest sometime, the "dark smiling" that can appear with kaya, like with the visit with the grandma.

but the body, the vessel that is supposed to sustain that power is not exorcised and that the baby was originally a cursed womb mean that she hold potentially great power without hajime lurking in the soul of the baby.

the creation of a cursed womb and a prietress is the same, the real difference is the lenght of the pregancy and the outcome that you search.

Welp either theory can work, though idk if "Shizuku" was the name given to her by Mirai or Satou, and even if Mirai was the one naming her I don't trust her to have the instinct to tell unless Kaya was involved so at the moment I don't see much significance on her name until we get more info down the line. There's so much information being skipped after Kaya punched the curse, a lot of it could just be a red herring too so I'd say agree to disagree for now.
All of it comes down to how much info the author is willing to share until we got the facts down honestly speaking
