i guess unless they withdraw themselves, anyone competing is constantly in the tournament

due to rule 3, wouldn't remove the band disqualify them? (let's say you beat up someone or steal their band then throw them into gutter)

Best chance is defeating Bartleby so that his team break and flee. The Shinonome brothers were the strongest but the rest aside from B are jobbers (maybe cigarette smoking man is strong?).

I think that's why Bartleby never risked himself even though he's the strongest single fighter of the group and a defence expert.

Plus I see him retreating half way through the fight for several big reasons

- the injury/casualty accumulation from Mr.Karate

- this fight being too entertaining

- The very real risk of rival competitors. Seeing this live face-off, and heading over to provide support to the underdogs purely out of self-preservation, hope of getting cheap kills, or prideful hatred for Masked Man’s cheap tactics

The longer this goes on the worse it is for Team “Jump That Guy”
