I understand that well bro, I was the same when I clicked on the final chapter for Gal Cleaning. I'm still waiting for the sequel to this day.

Probably because a community was formed on the MangaDex Discord after the forums were shutdown for 2ish years in 2021.

i may be out of the loop, but has the (lack of) automatic creation of xenforo threads for chapter discussions been fixed? it looks like new chapter threads pop up in the chapter discussions subforum automatically after a few minutes from the upload (unless those are all manually created by the uploader/a C*ntributor or the like, i'm not sure). or was the issue not the lack of automatic creation of xenforo threads, but the lag on their reader link?

regardless, if there's a new chapter upload and you can't access its xenforo thread from the reader, try checking the chapter discussions subforum to see if it's been generated there and the main site reader is just lagging a bit

No, but it appears

those are all manually created by the uploader/a C*ntributor or the like

is generally the case - I've not been coming across many chapters that don't have a forum thread (unless the chapter's only been up for a few minutes), and when I do I create the forum thread.

I have been going on a thread opening spree these past days, even with manga I don't read, so that may just be me.

Nope. I suspect we'll know once the update to get non-privileged users the ability to start new forum threads is implemented. Until then, keep doing Dex's work.
