As much as I was entertained reading this manga, it has so much pacing issues. Either there's too little happening, or too much is happening; it feels like a rollercoaster ride.

Also, I don't know how to feel about the Adventurer's association being this evil corporation. With how the tone of the manga is going, it seems like the world they're living is quite dystopian; giving preferential treatment to old people and job market being so bad they allow High-Schoolers to join as adventurers. However, it feels a bit too moustache twirling, cartoon evil.

Despite all of that, I'll still continue reading this.

Wow what a dump of chapters for a new title & gave enough info for people to see if this will be interesting or not. In short it is just a wish fulfilment fantasy story of a guy & gets a harem because why not. I know this is an adaption but I get the feeling the artist added a bunch of fanservice randomly since their other title they are drawing for always seems to have ecchi moments like adding bath scenes out of nowhere (no complains from me). Anyways I look forward to more of this story but I will say it is ludicrous that the elderly get preferential treatment because if all the young die, then humanity is doomed. Thanks for the translations.

This feels like babby's first dystopian story. I remember writing something like this in elementary school for an assignment.
Anyway, the story itself wouldn't be too bad, relative to some other with the same genre, but the pacing is atrocious and ruins the whole experience.

Ayyyyyyyy I knew the art looked good/familiar its by the same people as "Tensei Shitara Sainou ga Atta Ken ~Isekai Itte mo Doryoku Suru~" :meguusmug: which imo has a WAY better written story then this one

This one is FILLED with messes that makes absolutely zero sense
But yea from what we Know Corpo = evil
So curious if MC will get strong enough to beat them

Oh wait I just got the idea
-So Old people keep getting richer and take all the normal jobs

-To FORCE young people into dungeons so their jobs become card collectors while also dying

-But they have to go through the association corp that's RUN by old people

-Hence they collect the cards and give it to the old people in the corp
which I'm guessing they absorb the cards hence a Old person is probably OP as fuck

-young people are pretty much working for a black company and if they fight back
they die to the old people

So tl;dr
Association corp = evil
Old people = True evil

This is probably written as a jab for our society as to how the boomers and old folks are making the young folks a living hell by working HORRIBLE job hours/payment where we can't afford any homes because old people own it all and how the bills and everything have gone up like 500x since covid and how we just have to work like slaves with 2 jobs or more hence why there's alot of fearmongering by OLD people about how the original population of any country is dying because young people arent having kids and so they bring in replacements aka immigrants when the real reason the population is dying is thanks to old people hoarding wealth and turning young people into work slaves :aquadrink:

Either way I see you Author :wooow:

this series really locked in in such a fascinating way. To be clear, It's not good, like at all, but it's so bad it's amazing. There are so many scenes that are back to back unintentionally hilarious, coupled with the breakneck pacing that refuses to let any moment breathe, it really feels like an abridged series of itself.

Most things die in this by their heads flying off, but there's no weight in like, anything, so it feels like they're just lego pieces coming loose.
pages 6-7 [lmao], have the funniest one two gag setup of the live villain reaction into sawed off leg grapple,
the goofy ass "Oh yeah, mc was just left fighting that thing alone" into the slapstick knockout punch,
the fact that it took both his party members to shove him out of the way for no reason, and then only their heads were knocked off.
The entire page 14 sequence of the villain running away like he ding dong ditched someone, into the mc waking up from a nap, to the two of that guy fighting off the demon,
page 16's wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man kick,
it's so peam with how bad it is that i fully believe one of the artists is messing around and making this the funniest shit ever.

Also it's not like, smart enough to really solidify the critique of the late stage capitalist dystopian society its setup, but the bones are there for sure. Earlier i thought it might've been covered up to help improve the metrics of more adventurer sign ons, death toll be damned, but the reveal of it also being a meat grinder operation of sending the naive/gullible in to die and drop their skill cards to further enrich the already old, wealthy, powerful's an interesting angle.

It's very basic in a lot of ways, but I will say that the artist definitely did a fairly good job with choreographing the fight scenes. They paid enough attention to smaller details between attacks so that it wasn't just an instantaneous switch from one move to the next, for instance, when he stabbed the goblin in the first chapter, he pulled the knife out and held it in front of him while he ran to the next goblin, which was a surprisingly nice touch. They're definitely doing the best they can with what they've been given, and I respect that for sure.

This kind of world building only works if the people in charge have a strong enough deterrent to prevent the people below from revolting, if you've got characters like the mc running around obviously disenfranchised by the guild and it's leadership or even on a broader scale the government itself, there's nothing to stop him or someone else from killing everyone in charge.

There's realistically nothing stopping a super human with literal magic from running around doing assassinations or bombings.

The author really hasn't put much thought into this one clearly.

They literally said it was to ensure that the wealth stays with the elderly. It feels like they are trying to "subtly" talk about some real groups in the world that are always given preferential treatment to keep them on top and then the organization is just the beurocracy that supports that. They don't care about anything other than keeping themselves and the groups they chose to support as the only things that matter.

I'm betting by the time the MC "matters" to the association he will already be beyond their power to control and they will go after his brothers.
