This feels like a very japan thing to do. Also jizzreeal thing to do. Genocide thousands of people and then act like we're all chill lol
My guy it isn't a genocide because it isn't systematic. It's a mass murder and it should be stopped but calling it a genocide is doing a disservice to all the people that died in concentration camps in an actual genocide. It's also doing a disservice to the over 2 million Muslims that have died in the Xinjiang internment camps. Internment camps that are still up and running. Literally no one does anything about it or talks about the fact that China has literal concentration camps.

I don't know man, she kinda seems like a war criminal. She kidnapped children to be experimented on. Too bad this isn't longer and more serious. There's a real good story to be told with a character like the priestess who had just completely cracked under all the pressure of this perfect ideal everyone had for her. Cross was the only person that grounded her (really he was the only one that grounded their whole party) and without him she went completely insane and was easily taken advantage of. How would she respond to Cross coming back and seeing her like this? All that shame. I think about Flashpoint where after learning that main continuity Bruce lives on and becomes Batman, Martha Wayne (who became the Joker) umm... well she unalives herself out of shame. Not saying this needs to go that dark, but we could've gotten something. This was just so rushed. Damn the axe.

Nah, do not forgive the child murderer. She had zero justification for her actions, grief stricken or not. Literately did the exact opposite of what cross wished for and then acts like she's the victim. Story is straight up gaslighting its readers with this one.
