Yeah, the biggest problem with cat festivals is all the other cats. Though apparently they've gotten more civilized and can talk things out, so... Well I'm skeptical about that but will go along with it for the cat festival premise.I would love to go to a cat festival, but I'm pretty sure my actual cat would hate the hell out of it. He a lone wolf chonkers that hates other cats.
Darn it, I was too attached to the premise with Hotori looking a bit spooky, but you're right, will fix when I get home.@sarusa about the notes : Nope, Sora isn't a nopperabou in the first page : look at the side the black ear is : it's on the right so he is just turning his back to us, as a cat he probably prefer dangos over a flower like Mugishima-chan in a kimono...
Hotori's dad got that dog in him.I wanted to make up a Wanted Poster for this Serial Pet-ador, but the notes page was already jam packed.

This one was quite involved, lots of text and redraws, so took a little longer, sorry! Look forward to Sora on a Roomba.
Because of the issue of goldfish dying, I think there's a trend away from it and towards scooping up other stuff, like rubber balls.
I could be wrong though. Anyways, I always thought goldfish scooping was a bad idea. Not just in terms of animal cruelty, but also in terms of money costs and logistics.
Yeah, even the goldfish you get at the fair can live a long time, but most people who get one don't know how (or can't afford it or just don't care enough). You need a tank (small bowls are terrible), you need an oxygenator, you need to regularly clean the tank (but keep the water...), you need to not overfeed it, you need to keep the temperature in a decent range... if you do that it can live for years and years and years. But most fair goldfish are dead in months, if not weeks 😿 .apparently some goldfish can live for a long time, i wouldn't keep it in those rubber balls or so, but all the images you see out there the tanks are always too small (same with hamster cages), i don't think the fish we ever got lived too long minus betta fish but i didn't rly keep an aquarium, although one time we had one in a jar above the sink and i guess one day it just jumped and accidentally ended itself XP
