LMAO surprised she didn't make it two weeks or a month versus her able to go back to her home (can't remember if it's a back and forth one) and just refuse to return but i guess she can't just leave the kids there even tho they're more independent as beastkin kids

Damn bro, I know you miss your ex, but she's not your ex.

I wonder if he'd still act this way if MC is male (not that i think about it, BL isekai does tech exist but it's rarer/you'd prolly have to go outta your way to search for it in the tags) compared to villainess yuri isekai

Thank you for the translation!! Wonderful work great work! I think it came across clear in the last few pages that he was speaking about the saintess as a separate person, and realising that our mc isn’t her. Poor guy was acting so over the top because he was falling back into an old friendship, or so he thought… I’m glad he’s recognising it now though and will hopefully be way less creepy

The thing is, I understand him.
She still is the same soul, through and through, but has none of the memories yet.
I bet he sees her core being identical, so he assumes it's the same being.
But I think he does get less attached to the prior persona.

The question I suppose is whether he'll get better when he's called out on things, or whether he's going to persistently try to do everything he thinks he can get away with.

(In my old age I've started to tire of comedy series whitewashing the latter as "funny characters" ~.~; )

Honestly I feel kinda bad for the ancient dragon. To him, Satsuki's soul is the same as the Saintess's, so in his mind they must be the same person.

After waiting for so long for the return of his best and only friend, it's got to be crushing to hear the one bearing her soul, the soul that shone so brightly to him, tell him she barely knows him.

It's the final nail in the coffin. The Saintess really is dead, and she's not coming back.
