And look, romance or no romance, but she's been sidelining him in favour of hanging out with her new group of friends"Wait he's getting more attention, and that means I can't have his attention, no he's mine!"
snek should've moved on a long time ago from MC, she deserves to loseSnek after loosing because of Kusonki's plot armor

She was scared to acknowledge her feelings because she might lose her friendship with Keisuke. Now doing nothing feels like she might lose her friendship with him as well. It's definitely trope-y but it still feels grounded in her character arc![]()
Kusunoki realized anything can happen
Why would she lose her friendship with him if he dates someone else? She was scared to acknowledge her feelings because she might lose her friendship with Keisuke. Now doing nothing feels like she might lose her friendship with him as well.
I think that she thinks in ultimatum like that because of her past trauma with a friend liking a friend. She isn't well socialized so she doesn't actually know what might change if he started dating someone combined with she might actually like him in a romantic way, she still isn't sure but she is equating not making a move as possibly losing him and she can't afford to lose him who she is even closer to than the middle school friends she lost. Why would she lose her friendship with him if he dates someone else?
Reminds me of another manga.Called it long ago - she wouldn't do a thing until it looked like she'd be left behind.
Wish it weren't so predictable, because having her be genuinely not interested in romance with him would have been very novel. This whole "I don't know or understand my feelings!" only to purposefully sideline him only to then get upset when it appears others have interest in him is just ....kind of exhausting.
I'd prefer she just make up her mind and stop lying to everyone and herself. She wants so badly to not hurt anybody, but all that's doing is screwing up the calculus for all parties involved, and the more she ran away from the truth the more pain it was going to cause.
So in that sense, at least, I'm glad to see things are finally starting to get underway.
genuinely curious if you recall the name of it, because that sounds interesting.Reminds me of another manga.
Where the first girl lost because she doddles and got rejected after confessing, while he was in love with her in the beginning.
another girl swoops in and they actually starts dating.
Called it long ago - she wouldn't do a thing until it looked like she'd be left behind.
"Chad aura"leave it to Keisuke's chad aura to move the main plot along just when you thought it was hopeless
