you know an author has made an awful job, when pretty much everyone knows the FMC will win but nobody wants her to win, and it's not about the other characters being super charming*, but the FMC being waaaay too boring or plain ... or worse acts against the "plot".
*not an Otobe fan (like she's the tomboy girl, nothing much to add sadly), and Snek has the best story though

its weird that otobe hasn't noticed he likes kusunoki and kusunoki likes him too (but is scared to recognize it)

being a third person or outsider can make you notice things that they themselves involved wont. this being a mirror on kusunoki's previous friend group hurts despite being a generic or predictable storyline.

Otobros are delusional, Keisuke got literally zero chemistry or attraction to her. Meanwhile he loves Kusonoki and 'was' in love with Hebikawa + is more than aware of her as a woman + got something tender going on with her even though it's offset by a pile of her bullshittery.

And that's without even considering Moe's visual appeal - which is that of a small boy, which might work for ancient greece but most certainly isn't Keisuke's cup of tea.
