I've never understood this oddity of having someone stand away from the concession line when both of them could have gone up and ordered their snacks together. Arbitrary melodrama, especially when that guy could've just as easily been a slimy jerk if he got into line behind them and tried to chat her up there, "trapping" her between the choices of enduring his pestering or leaving without getting snacks.
