just checked the raws website's and they release in parts, but its also at chapter 17.2 so i dont think its a case of this group waiting for both halves.

I guess it would be too hard, and/or too much hassle to convict those nobles. In a feudal state it's even possible that they could not be prosecuted at all.

Meanwhile by this public charade future wannabe bandits will less likely take missions from those nobles.

That's what the WN says, the chaos it causes to change rulers is not worth it and Gaikaku shows his disgust clearly so I'm satisfied.

Gaikaku gets kidnapped by a noble so she comes to the rescue.... and slaughters the noble's army and family (kids included) for soiling her reputation.

, the next chapter will probably show how twisted the elf slaves are so yeah only the baddies are horrible.
