Human princess officially villainess, no plot twist. Oof.

Before the flooding hate comments: I still enjoy these tropes (much like JP otakus) because, unlike IRL, karmas always come to these antagonist and the MC are always vindicated one way or another (And if we're lucky, this b**ch will get the shield hero treatment, but who knows?). TL;DR: I don't try to question author's writing, I simply wait to see how these bastards get punished and our naive lil' demon princess gets her (hate) love.

Huh???? I honestly don’t understand the plot anymore. Now Celestina suddenly feels like the villain of this story. I can already guess the trope for the next few chapters: humans will probably turn out to be the bad side, while the demons are actually the good side :haa: Schmerz also didn’t do anything at all. If anything, he looks more like he’s siding with Celestina than with Lieselotte.

Wow, that escalated quicly. And arrest her? That knight commander is an idiot, even if daemon she is fiancee of a hero and foreign dignitary to that. The king will be furious at that if nothing else as nobody wants war with daemons to resume.

But I am sure the hero will see trough this charade and save her from this predicament.

Huh???? I honestly don’t understand the plot anymore.

I don't see what is so hard to not understand here. Celestina has a crush on a hero and wants to sway him to her side. And she uses underhanded tactics and means to get her away from him.

It's really typical jelaous villainess plot. Which in this case is not suprising as Lieselotte is very hated in human society for being a daemon.

People need to understand that, the marriage is seen as political, so no love between the two, that's why people who love the hero will be proactive in seducing him
Now since the princess knew she can handle undeads, she probably did something that pissed it off to the point where it ignores a bit the order of it’s master

This entire thing reads like the humans don’t care for peace. Demons should just restart the war, and remind them why this could happen to begin with…
It can be seen both way:
-Demon Lord: Sending his own daughter to bait humans into unfairly executing her, giving him the perfect excuse to break treaty and resume war.
-Humans: Already low trust on demon (Whatever the reason that is), will justify slaying anything they deemed demonic for their own personal agenda, disregarding world peace.

Thank you.

The demons (afawk) launched a war of aggression against humans, and it only ended when the demons (the aggressors*) decided to stop fighting on the condition that the Demon King's daughter marries the Hero -- someone who is beloved by almost everyone in the kingdom. From the humans' point of view, the Hero got fucked over for his service. They don't know the Demon Princess genuinely loves the Hero, and even if they did, that isn't going to undo years of justified* hatred.

Of course there's going to be a bit of pushback.

My only issue in this instance is that the princess should know better than to do anything that could endanger the two nation's barely-established peace, given her position.

What I'd like to see now is a chapter or two from the demons' perspective on the marriage.

Just chill guys. We are reading from demon princess perspective, so it may be irritating, but including the hero all human is racist & biased.

Honestly, I like spice like this unlike most manga where heroine successfully captured with just 2 chapter.

It seems she does know this. The "problem" is that she's young and in love, and is in an impossibly lucky situation where she actually gets the chance to see that love through despite everything about the circumstances. Her jealous guarding of this opportunity is probably going to lead to more slip-ups in the future.

Based on context, I assume the "Hold on a second!" in the last panel is coming from Schmerz, so I'm curious to see what his reaction is going to be. He clearly understands the assignment (even if, for now, he doesn't like it), and Chapter 3 was about slightly cracking the door open to the possibility of him coming around.

Just destroy the royalty / elites, at this point, the human royalty and elites are better off being fertilizers for the ground, always stirring up unnecessary shit.
